The Labyrinth Is my income (or your income) taxable, or not? THE LAW by itself is what must answer that question. Now, if the law was written by HONEST people, it would immediately make it abundantly clear what is taxable and what is exempt. But it wasn't. And it doesn't. So we have to navigate their maze.
