US Political Prostitutes for Israel – Veterans Today | News – Military Foreign Affairs Policy

May 14, 2018 by · Leave a Comment

If you don’t think that Washington is overcrowded with political prostitutes for Israel and the powers that be, then pay close attention to a letter that my dear friend Mark Dankof has recently sent to Senator John Cornyn.

Dankof voiced his concerns about Israel’s malicious enterprise and duplicitous act in the Middle East. Interestingly enough, Senator Cornyn responded by regurgitating the Zionist narrative.

I’m convinced that Pat Buchanan, David Stockman, Dr. Philip Giraldi, and Ted Snider are all on target with the mistaken character of an Israeli driven American foreign policy on Iran, and the JCPOA treaty in particular.

Examining Israel’s Pretext for War on Iran

May 13, 2018 by · Leave a Comment

Nothing unites Americans and Israelis like a good enemy to hate and wail about, and, to go to war against. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pulled out all the stops with his sophomoric slide show, “Iran Lied,” designed to demonize Iran further by claiming Iran was pursuing nuclear weapon development, inspite of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) that limited Iran from developing nuclear weapons, since it was signed in 2015. Only problem is, it was all old news gong as far back as 2003. Israeli newspaper, Haaretz, challenged Netanyahu with an article, “After Netanyahu Speech, UN Reiterates Found No Traces of Iran Nukes.” In this 25 minute podcast, Chuck Carlson and members of We Hold These Truths look into how Netanyahu’s “discovery” could lead to war?  War has become the excuse most commonly used to cover up deficits and out-of-control spending. Simply stated, our politicians believe that if they can find a war to fight, no one will bother to look at how much money it costs, or where that money is coming from.  War is like a general anesthetic! As mentioned in the podcast, America even planned its wars on Iraw, Libya, Syria and Iran as was revealed by retired General Wesley Clark on a 2007 Democracy Now interview, “General Wesley Clark: Wars Were Planned – Seven Countries In Five Years.” We say, “No More Wars For Israel.”

Land Destroyer: Israel Baits the Hook. Will Syria Bite?

May 13, 2018 by · Leave a Comment

Headlines like the UK’s Independent’s, “Israel and Iran on brink of war after unprecedented Syria bombardment in response to alleged Golan Heights attack,” attempt to portray the Israeli aggression as self-defense. The Independent, however, failed to produce any evidence confirming Israeli claims.

At face value, for Iran to inexplicably launch missiles at Israel, unprovoked and achieving no conceivable tactical, strategic, or political gain strains the credibility of Israel’s narrative even further.

But it is perhaps published US policy designating Israel as a hostile provocateur tasked with expanding Washington’s proxy war against Damascus that fully reveals the deadly and deceptive game Israel and the Western media are now playing.

Trump Accidentally Described U.S. Foreign Policy While Trying to Slam Iran | The Daily Bell

The United States has certainly demonstrated its schizophrenic approach to global affairs and effectively shown its true colors to the world. According to Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, sanctions will be re-imposed on Iran to punish Iran for the following:

  1.       Iran’s status as the world’s largest state sponsor of terror;
  2.       Its use of ballistic missiles against American allies;
  3.       Its support for the brutal Assad regime in Syria;
  4.       Its human rights violations against its own people;
  5.       Its abuses of the international financial system.

No, Iran and Hezbollah Haven’t Taken Over Lebanon

May 12, 2018 by · Leave a Comment

Lebanon held the first parliamentary elections since 2009 (they are supposed to be every four years, but the Syrian civil war and political gridlock made it difficult to meet that schedule until now).

Given all the talk of Trump pulling out of the Iran deal in part because of Tehran’s supposed regional dominance, the results of the Lebanese elections will likely be entangled with this policy.

Episode 337 – The REAL Middle East Nuclear Threat : The Corbett Report

May 12, 2018 by · Leave a Comment

There is in fact a Middle Eastern nation that is in fact in control of a vast, undeclared stockpile of nuclear weapons. This nation does have the capability of deploying those weapons anywhere in the region. It is not a signatory to the nuclear non-proliferation treaty and its arsenal has never been inspected by any international agency. But this nation is not Iran. It’s Israel.

The President Does Not Have Unlimited Power to Declare War | The American Conservative

The Constitution is not like a restricted railroad ticket, good for this day and train only. Neither is it deaf to changed circumstances or the force of better reasoning. Article V authorizes amendments by two thirds of the House and Senate and three fourths of the States. Twenty-seven amendments have been ratified over the course of 228 years, including the Bill of Rights, the Civil War Amendments, and a two-term limit for the presidency. But Mr. Buckley can no more repeal the Declare War Clause by shouting about its alleged unworkability than anti-gun zealots can repeal the Second Amendment’s individual right to keep and bear arms by decrying the use of firearms to commit murder. Mr. Buckley’s reasoning invites every man to become a law unto himself and pick and choose which constitutional prescriptions to obey.

All suspended United States sanctions against Iran will be reinstated, and harsh additional ones will be imposed.

It does not matter that the International Atomic Energy Agency, orIAEA, repeatedly confirmed Iran was complying with the JCPOA as verified by 11 detailed reports since January 2016. Even US Secretary of Defense James Mattis vouched for the stringent verification mechanisms.

The so-called “Iran Nuclear Deal,” officially known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) signed on 2015 now under threat by a backtracking US – was billed at the time of its signing as a historic agreement that provided a path forward towards peace between the US and Iran.

We can now dismiss all hope that Trump’s campaign promises to pull out of Syria, normalize relations with Russia and stop the offshoring of American jobs will ever become US policies. By dishonoring the US government’s word and pulling out of the Iran nuclear non-proliferation agreement, an agreement signed by the US, UK, France, Germany, Russia, China, and Iran, President Trump has revealed that his regime is totally in the hands of the Zionist warmongers.

Nuclear Chutzpah – Eric Margolis

May 8, 2018 by · Leave a Comment

Chutzpah’ is a wonderful Yiddish word that means outrageous nerve, or unmitigated gall.

This week’s Chutzpah Award goes to Israel’s prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Standing in front of props of data files and cd’s, Netanyahu claimed Israel’s renowned Mossad spy agency had stolen a small mountain of secret Iranian nuclear data from a warehouse in Tehran.

The never-understated Netanyahu claimed that the purloined material proved that Iran was lying about having halted its covert nuclear program and must not be trusted.

This next week may determine whether President Trump extricates us from that cauldron of conflict that is the Middle East, as he promised, or plunges us even deeper into these forever wars.

Friday will see the sixth in a row of weekly protests at the Gaza border fence in clashes that have left 40 Palestinians dead and 1,500 wounded by live fire from Israeli troops.

Monday, the U.S. moves its embassy to Jerusalem. Tuesday will see the triumphal celebration of the 70th birthday of the state of Israel.

Do Americans Want To Die For Israel? – PaulCraigRoberts.org

So where is the pressure on Trump coming from to destroy the carefully negotiated agreement in which Iran agreed to forgo development of nuclear weapons?

It comes from Israel and Israel’s American Fifth Column—the neoconservatives.

Israel is the reason for Washington’s hostility toward Syria and Iran. Israel has twice tried to occupy southern Lebanon, which Israel covets for its water resources, and twice Israel was driven out by the Hezbollah militia.

Japan’s Secret Army — James Corbett

Last month, while everyone was distracted by other events, the Japanese government did something rather remarkable: They activated a marine unit. Specifically, the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force activated a 1,500 man unit known as the Amphibious Rapid Deployment Brigade. The occasion was marked by a ceremony at Sasebo military base on the island of Kyushu.

This may not seem particularly newsworthy. After all, the activation of a single marine brigade would not be a remarkable event in virtually any other nation on the planet. But in Japan, where there has not been such a marine activation since WWII, it is extraordinary.

NYT TOM FRIEDMAN CALLS FOR FAKE NEWS AGAINST PUTIN

May 5, 2018 by · Leave a Comment

The media whining about “fake news” actually represents a classic example of what psychologists refer to as “projection” — accusing innocent others of the very same evil deeds that the accuser is guilty of. Tom Friedman‘s opening volley needs no rebutting for it is a shocking caricature of itself in which he admits that Sulzberger’s Slimes and the rest of the Piranha Press can and should invent and publish dis-informative propaganda (fake news) about Putin and Russia. Take a whiff of the fantasy story that Freakman concocts as an example of what he would like to see planted and published by the government-media complex to which he belongs, even though he admits such a tale would be false:

Netanyahu: Don’t Look Here, Where We’re Shooting Children—Look at Iran

May 4, 2018 by · Leave a Comment

Since the U.S. right wing and the government of Israel would very much like to see Iran invaded, its government overthrown and its legs broken, this nuclear latency or the Japan option is an annoyance they would like to remove. It is easier to execute someone if you disarm him first.

But Iran, of course, is already substantially disarmed, voluntarily. What is going on now is an attempt to pull the wool over people’s eyes about that and to con them into spending $6 trillion on another ruinous Middle East conflict.

That will keep everybody busy while Netanyahu finally succeeds in ethnically cleansing what is left of the Palestinians, his ulterior ultimate goal.

Popular Putin prepares for Cold War 2.0 | Asia Times

Immediately after his official inauguration on Monday, Russian President Vladimir Putin is expected to announce a new government. And a bombshell is in the making. The new cabinet is bound to be a Stavka: that is, a war cabinet.In the context of the interminable Russiagate saga, increasingly harsh US sanctions, the Skripal charade (which, incidentally, has totally disappeared from the Western news cycle), and the serious escalation in Syria – in contrast to the Russia-Iran-Turkey attempt at a peace process in Astana – that’s an all but inevitable option chosen by the Kremlin.

NY TIMES: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KARL MARX!

Good Lord! The Marxist scum at Sulzberger’s Slimes aren’t even attempting to hide their true faces anymore! Though his bicentennial birthday isn’t until May 5th, Karl Marx’s fan base at The Slimes simply could not wait to publish this pro-Marxist opinion piece by “professor of philosophy” Jason Barker. Notwithstanding a few obligatory jabs at Marxism, Barker’s take on Marx (cough cough) is essentially positive, and very much in line with the shockingly provocative (even by Slimes standards) headline: “Happy Birthday, Karl Marx. You Were Right!
