The book, American Amnesia by Jacob S. Hacker and Paul Pierson is a pathetic attempt to distort history to support a psychopathic adoration for the merits of massive government. The theme of the dissertation is the rejection of the Thomas Jefferson axiom, “The Government is best when it governs least.” For this duo of academic establishment apologists, the Twentieth century under Woodrow Wilson and Franklin Delano Roosevelt was a great success. Coming out of the Yale citadel and the bedlam known as Berkeley, these two mentally challenged government sycophants are a pristine example why engagement with such progressive professors is a journey into the warped minds of historic irrationality.
“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to heaven, we were all going direct the other way – in short, the period was so far like the present period, that some of its noisiest authorities insisted on its being received, for good or for evil, in the superlative degree of comparison only”, is just as true today about the true conservative movement as it was back in Charles Dickens, A Tale of Two Cities, era.
A tolerant culture has long been acclaimed as a righteous society. While most social indoctrination is designed to foster this fanciful theme, few are willing to ask or examine if this is a desirable goal. A valid conclusion rests upon a correct definition of the nature of tolerance and how it applies to natural arrangements and relationships among different groups. Here are four options to consider:
1) the power or capacity of an organism to tolerate unfavorable environmental conditions
2) willingness to recognize and respect the beliefs or practices of others
3) a disposition to allow freedom of choice and behavior
4) a permissible difference; allowing freedom to move within limits
With the Easter Rising of 1916, the world was introduced to the eulogy of Pax Britannica. Much like the coercion used by the Roman Empire, the British Crown were masters at colonial repression and exploitation of royal holdings. The long strained history between the Emerald Isle and the City of London dates back many centuries. From the punitive exploits of Oliver Cromwell to the use of the Auxiliary Division of the Royal Irish Constabulary (ADRIC), the shrift shed blood on both sides. Independence comes at a high price when the imperium masters dig in to keep their rule in place.
Well, Barak Obama got his wish on the second try. With the confirmation of John Owen Brennan by the Senate, the CIA has a new director from their own ranks. “Brennan’s 25 years with the CIA included work as a Near East and South Asia analyst, as station chief in Saudi Arabia, and as director of the National Counterterrorism Center.” He proudly attests, “I’m neither Republican nor Democrat. I’ve worked for the past five administrations.” Imagine a non-partisan spook as D/CIA. If this development is intended to restore confidence in the agency, just what kind of organization will emerge from a careerist covert agent at the helm?
Well, if collective punishment for Palestinians, and Muslims generally, is acceptable, why not for pro-Trump Americans?
America’s flagship voice of disloyalty, Israel-First, and Neoconservatism —Commentary Magazine — has unleashed one of its key staff Gauleiters, a man named Herr Garbriel Schoenfeld, to demand that all Americans supporting Donald Trump be held “accountable” for disagreeing with their Israel-First superiors.
Lest we forget, this country was forged out of a concerted desire to free the shackles of the British Empire, so that colonies could chart their own course for individual state governments. If only people understood this historic fact. Since so few are familiar with the actual cornerstones of the America Revolution and the latest generations know even less, the indoctrination from government schools has stripped out the quest for knowledge of what made America different. Consider a virtual reality time travel back two hundred and forty-one years to the start of the most important revolution of all times.
The most endangered concept and foundation of the American Republic is LIBERTY. The entire validity and purpose of government is to advance and protect individual natural rights. Natural law is the only supreme canon to base government upon and organize society. Our common law tradition rests upon natural law. Western civilization’s essence is intrinsic in the inherent autonomy of each human being. Our universal nature bestowed from God. Life is not an accident, but is a gift. Christian ethics, values and teachings are synonymous with the founding of our nation. Thomas Jefferson states, “The God who gave us life, gave us liberty at the same time.” (A Summary View of the Rights of British America).
You live in a society of malcontents ruled by a system of authoritarians. The conflict between unrealistic expectations and the raw force used to compel compliance is growing more intense. Only the walking dead are happy. Any thinking and intelligent person knows that the political hierarchy has lost its legitimacy. The result of the Curse of Multiculturalism has created a mentality malaise that chewed up our institutions, denigrated our social values and produced a progressive asylum of sick and disturbed free loaders. All the while the entrenched political class sucks the life blood from the average citizen, while lining their own pockets with public funds.
East will never meet the West of Adam Smith. China never had a culture or tradition of respecting individual human rights. Why would anyone assume that a regime that houses worker slaves in huge chicken coops would adopt a fair trade economy? The Chinese juggernaut is a creature of Western creation. The Red Dragon never reflects the noble contributions of wealth development that grew a stable middle class and spread the fruits of democratic principles. The Chinese model is a harbinger of the global gulag and the coerced society designed to demolish cherished Western Civilization values and liberties. The masters of political confrontations have found a better way than waging world wars for imposing their planetary dominance.
At this point in the long and revolting primary fiasco, the two party monopoly plays out their orchestrated selection charade for all to see. The most amazing and pathetic attitude among a politically frustrated electorate is why another one can or will provide their consent with the final outcome. The fundamental failure in the American political system is based upon a phony two party opposition. Friends and foes alike, the first lesson in understanding our politically imposed despotism is that elections never allow for real choice. The careerist political class always prevents honest reformers from gaining real power.
Often civilization is viewed as the embodiment of urban architectural achievements. Buildings may be marvelous tributes to engineering and design, but glass and steel never create the soul of a society. The cosmopolitan culture that passes for urbane sophistication usually has flaws that many city inhabitants fail to recognize. While the crime, congestion and pollution are familiar ingredients, few comprehend that another form of contamination resides in their assembled utopia.
