Golan Heights Oil all about the Shekels

March 26, 2019 by · Leave a Comment

When the Zionists absorbed the Syrian Golan Heights during the Six-Day War of 1967, most of the postmortems proclaimed that Israel was establishing a defensive barrier that would prevent future assaults. Well, guarding the territory on high may discourage artillery attacks might resonate with proponents of a Jewish state, most of the rest of the world condemns the illegal occupation. Now that President Trump has capitulated to the Neocon Israel-First State Department by recognizing the integration of the Golan Heights as part of the imperial Israeli dynasty, the dooms day clock approaches rapidly towards Armageddon.

Venezuela: Let’s Cut to the Chase – Pepe Escobar

February 6, 2019 by · Leave a Comment

Cold War 2.0 has hit South America with a bang – pitting the US and expected minions against the four key pillars of in-progress Eurasia integration: Russia, China, Iran and Turkey.

It’s the oil, stupid. But there’s way more than meets the (oily) eye.

Caracas has committed the ultimate cardinal sin in the eyes of Exceptionalistan; oil trading bypassing the US dollar or US-controlled exchanges.

Remember Iraq. Remember Libya. Yet Iran is also doing it. Turkey is doing it. Russia is – partially – on the way. And China will eventually trade all its energy in petroyuan.

Mexico is starting to look like Venezuela | The Daily Bell – Simon Black

January 29, 2019 by · Leave a Comment

Oil thieves have been drilling holes in Mexico’s extensive network of oil and gas piplelines across the country to steal fuel and sell it on the black market.

State-owned oil company PEMEX found more than 12,500 illegal holes in the pipelines last year.

And these oil thieves went as far as building a 2-mile long pipe themselves to divert oil directly from the refineries.

Selling oil on the secondary market is a highly lucrative business in Mexico. And some farmers who take up a job as lookouts for the thieves can earn more than five times their regular income doing so.

How the Iran sanctions drama intersects with OPEC-plus | Asia Times

June 30, 2018 by · Leave a Comment

History may have registered stranger geoeconomic bedfellows. But in the current OPEC-plus world, the rules of the game are now de facto controlled by OPEC powerhouse Saudi Arabia in concert with non-OPEC Russia.

Russia may even join OPEC as an associate member. There’s a key clause in the bilateral Riyadh-Moscow agreement stipulating that joint interventions to raise or lower oil production now are the new norm.

Some major OPEC members are not exactly pleased. At the recent meeting in Vienna, three member states – Iran, Iraq and Venezuela – tried, but did not manage to veto the drive for increased production. Venezuela’s production is actually declining. Iran, facing a tacit US declaration of economic war, is hard-pressed to increase production. And Iraq’s will need time to boost output.

India and China Announce The “Oil Buyers Club” — Steemit

June 16, 2018 by · Leave a Comment

I’ve been looking at some of the globalist summits around the world lately but here’s one that slipped under the radar: the International Energy Forum. The IEF’s 16th bienniel energy ministers meeting took place in New Delhi this past April and brought together 5o of the world’s energy ministers, 30 energy company CEOs and 12 heads of international organizations. Although it didn’t exactly make headlines at the time, an interesting story has emerged from the conference.

This past Wednesday, India’s Petroleum Ministry tweeted out a link to a story from an Indian financial publication reporting on an idea floated by Indian Oil Minister Dharmendra Pradhan at the IEF conference. The idea? For India, Chian, South Korea and Japan—all oil hungry Asian nations, all currently at the mercy of the OPEC cartel—to form “an ‘oil buyers club’ that can negotiate better terms with sellers as well as getting more US crude oil to Asia to cut dominance of the oil block.”

Why India is ignoring US sanctions and sticking with Iran | Asia Times

June 3, 2018 by · Leave a Comment

Pay very close attention to what India’s External Affairs Minister, Sushma Swaraj, said after meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif earlier this week in New Delhi:

“Our foreign policy is not made under pressure from other countries … We recognize UN sanctions and not country-specific sanctions. We didn’t follow US sanctions on previous occasions either.”

After fellow BRICS members China and Russia, India left no margin for doubt. And there’s more; India will continue to buy oil from Iran – its third top supplier – and is willing to pay in rupees via state bank UCO, which is not exposed to the US. India bought 114% more oil from Iran during the financial year up to March 2018 than in the previous term.

Venezuela’s New Cryptocurrency Is A Scam : The Corbett Report

February 25, 2018 by · Leave a Comment

A perfectly predictable thing happened when the Great Oil Price Plunge of 2014 pulled the rug out from Venezuela’s oilconomy: Foreign creditors stopped lending to Venezuela, the debt-saddled government devalued the currency to cover budget deficits, inflation spiraled out of control (entering a death spiral last November), and, perhaps inevitably, the government defaulted on some of its $US bonds. (And all this amidst devastating US sanctions of the country).

The result, as anyone who has been even casually following the headlines coming out of Venezuela has no doubt noted, has also been predictable: Chaos. Pandemonium. Desperation. People eating zoo animals. As I say, we’ve all heard the horror stories.

Iran, Gold and Oil – The Next Banksters War

October 19, 2015 by · Leave a Comment

Remember the real reason why Moammar Gadhafi is dead. He dared to propose and started creating an alternative currency to the world reserve U.S. Dollar. The lesson learned in Libya is now ready for teaching in Iran. Forget all the noise about going nuclear, the true message is that the banksters rule and nation states serve their ultimate masters. The hype and disinformation that surrounds the push for war is best understood by examining the viewpoint of Iranian MP Kazem Jalali. The Tehran Times quotes him in saying,
