Trump Regime “War of Words” on Iran – Global Research Global Research – Centre for Research on Globalization – Stephen Lendman

May 20, 2019 by · Leave a Comment

John Bolton wants war on all nations the US doesn’t control. His longstanding hostility toward Iran is well known.

Reportedly he’s been pushing Trump for war on Iran since becoming national security advisor. His notorious 2015 NYT op-ed headlined “To stop Iran’s bomb, bomb Iran.”

Iran has no “bomb,” doesn’t want one, and called or a nuclear-free Middle East numerous times — Israel the only nuclear armed and dangerous nation in the region, its nuke development aided and supported by the US.

Pompeo reportedly favors war on Iran by other means, wanting its economy crushed, falsely believing its authorities will cave to US demands.

From the Middle East to Northern Ireland, Western States are All Too Happy to Avoid Culpability for War Crimes – Counter Punch – Robert Fisk

May 20, 2019 by · Leave a Comment

When is a war crime not a war crime? When it’s committed by us, of course.

But this truism is taking on a new and sinister meaning today – and not just because Trump and his crackpots may be planning another clutch of atrocities in the Middle East.

For there is now a dangerous slippage becoming apparent in which western states are more ready than ever to countenance military crimes against humanity, to accept them, approve of them and to expect us to connive at these gross and sickening breaches of international law.

The Revelations of WikiLeaks: No. 3—The Most Extensive Classified Leak in History – Consortiumnews – Patrick Lawrence

May 17, 2019 by · Leave a Comment

For WikiLeaks, 2010 was an exceptionally eventful year. In April the transparency organization released “Collateral Murder,” the video of U.S. Army helicopters as they shot more than a dozen Iraqis in Baghdad. That proved a worldwide shock and put the 4-year-old publisher on the global media map.

“Afghan War Diaries,” a cache of 75,000 documents, followed in July.

Three months later, on Oct. 22, 2010, WikiLeaks released an even more explosive trove: 391,831 documents and videos it named “Iraq War Logs.” This superseded “Afghan War Diaries” as by far the most extensive leak of classified material in U.S. history. It shone a stark light on the U.S.–led coalition’s conduct in Iraq after its 2003 invasion, when the nation had erupted into a violent sectarian war. Julian Assange, WikiLeaks founder, said the Logs “constituted the most comprehensive and detailed account of any war ever to have entered the public record.”

Judgment Day For John Brennan, by Mike Whitney – The Unz Review

May 13, 2019 by · Leave a Comment

Sometime in the next 4 weeks, the Justice Department’s inspector general will release an internal review that will reveal the origins of the Trump-Russia investigation. Among other matters, the IG’s report is expected to determine “whether there was sufficient justification under existing guidelines for the FBI to have started an investigation in the first place.” Critics of the Trump-collusion probe believe that there was never probable cause that a crime had been committed, therefore, there was no legal basis for launching the investigation. The findings of the Mueller report– that there was no cooperation or collusion between the Kremlin and the Trump campaign– seem to underscore this broader point and suggest that the fictitious Trump-Russia connection was merely a pretext for spying on the campaign of a Beltway outsider whose political views clashed with those of the foreign policy establishment. In any event, the upcoming release of the Horowitz report will formally end the the first phase of the long-running Russiagate scandal and mark the beginning of Phase 2, in which high-profile officials from the previous administration face criminal prosecution for their role in what looks to be a botched attempt at a coup d’etat.

Here’s a brief summary from political analyst, Larry C. Johnson, who previously worked at the CIA and U.S. State Department:

The Real Muellergate Scandal – Strategic Culture – Craig Murray

May 13, 2019 by · Leave a Comment

Mueller gives no evidence whatsoever to back up his simple statement that Seth Rich was not the source of the DNC leak. He accuses Julian Assange of “dissembling” by referring to Seth Rich’s murder. It is an interesting fact that the US security services have shown precisely the same level of interest in examining Seth Rich’s computers that they have shown in examining the DNC servers. It is also interesting that this murder features in a report of historic consequences like that of Mueller, yet has had virtually no serious resource put into finding the killer.

Mueller’s condemnation of Julian Assange for allegedly exploiting the death of Seth Rich, would be infinitely more convincing if the official answer to the question “who murdered Seth Rich?” was not “who cares?”.

Pawns in the game – John Kaminski

May 13, 2019 by · Leave a Comment

The memory that we are actual individuals
is slowly disappearing from our consciousness,
and we can’t decide whether we like it or not.

You should never ask why one country makes war on another. It is because the people who run societies actually want war. It verifies their conviction that they are in control. This is especially true since the establishment of central banks in the late 19th century, when war became mandatory to maintain the standing armies that central banks insisted be created to defend them. Which meant that countries had to go to war just to support the banks they had created.

It is never about religious differences — that is just a screen for either a robbery or an extermination, sometimes both at once.

Even while they use the word “peace”, they are always talking about war.

Crazy Zio Goy John Bolton Planning Big War for Israel | INCOG MAN

May 11, 2019 by · Leave a Comment

John Bolton is like a real life character from the 1960s Stanley Kubrick movie Dr. Strangelove. Everything about this guy is bad news. We’re dealing with someone whose only goal in life is to do endless war for Jews. He alone could literally be responsible for pushing the United States into a simultaneous three-front war against Venezuela, Iran and North Korea. That’s not hyperbole either.

There are now reports coming out that Bolton participated in what is being described as an unusual meeting with the CIA on Iran.

The Hill:

White House national security adviser John Bolton last week participated in a meeting at CIA headquarters to discuss Iran with the Trump administration’s top intelligence, diplomatic and military officials, NBC News reported Thursday.

The elites of Washington are willing to talk about every aspect of immigration except the numbers. NumbersUSA is committed to forcing the numbers question into every discussion possible.

How much immigration is really in the national interest?

How low must the numbers go to stop harming vulnerable Americans?

Interview With Democratic Congresswoman and 2020 Presidential Candidate Tulsi Gabbard – The Intercept – Glenn Greenwald

May 9, 2019 by · Leave a Comment

EVER SINCE TULSI GABBARD was first elected to Congress in 2012, she has been assertively independent, heterodox, unpredictable, and polarizing. Viewed at first as a loyal Democrat and guaranteed future star by party leaders — due to her status as an Iraq War veteran, a telegenic and dynamic young woman, and the first Hindu and Samoan-American ever elected to Congress — she has instead become a thorn in the side, and frequent critic, of those same party leaders that quickly anointed her as the future face of the party.

Gabbard’s transformation from cherished party asset to party critic and outcast was rapid, and was due almost entirely to her insistence on following her own belief system and evolving ideology rather than party dogma and the long-standing rules for Washington advancement. In 2012, Rachel Maddow, upon announcing her victory, instructed her audience to learn Gabbard’s name because, the MSNBC host gushed, “she is on the fast track to being very famous someday,” and then in 2015, Maddow invited Gabbard on her show to herald her as one of the leaders of what Maddow touted as an urgently needed, new bipartisan congressional caucus composed of military veterans in the war on terror.

A Dollar-by-Dollar Tour of the National Security State – TomDispatch – William D. Hartung, Mandy Smithberger and Tom Engelhardt

May 8, 2019 by · Leave a Comment

In its latest budget request, the Trump administration is asking for a near-record $750 billion for the Pentagon and related defense activities, an astonishing figure by any measure. If passed by Congress, it will, in fact, be one of the largest military budgets in American history, topping peak levels reached during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. And keep one thing in mind: that $750 billion represents only part of the actual annual cost of our national security state.

There are at least 10 separate pots of money dedicated to fighting wars, preparing for yet more wars, and dealing with the consequences of wars already fought. So the next time a president, a general, a secretary of defense, or a hawkish member of Congress insists that the U.S. military is woefully underfunded, think twice. A careful look at U.S. defense expenditures offers a healthy corrective to such wildly inaccurate claims.

Now, let’s take a brief dollar-by-dollar tour of the U.S. national security state of 2019, tallying the sums up as we go, and see just where we finally land (or perhaps the word should be “soar”), financially speaking.

Is Demography Destiny? – The American Conservative – Scott McConnell

May 8, 2019 by · Leave a Comment

Unease with rapid demographic change is a major driving force in our politics. Neopopulist parties advocating tougher immigration restrictions continue to advance in Europe, most recently in Spain and the Netherlands. The more established parties of the European center-right, ineffectual at stemming immigration when in power, increasingly give rhetorical backing to enhanced restriction.

It now seems clear that at least a plurality of voters in Europe favor stark immigration limits. In the United States, President Donald Trump propelled himself past the rest of the GOP presidential field by promising strong measures to stem illegal immigration. He unexpectedly won the presidency and will quite possibly win a second term, even if he has failed to fulfill the promises he made to voters who backed him to get control over immigration.

The Deep State is Communist — Whittaker Chambers – henrymakow.com

May 7, 2019 by · Leave a Comment

If the US were not Communist-controlled, Whittaker Chamber would be known by every student as a great patriot, and Hollywood would have made an Oscar Best Picture about him.

In 1948, Whittaker Chambers, a Senior Editor at TIME magazine and former KGB agent, exposed Illuminati factotum Alger Hiss as a Soviet spy and espionage agent.

The Whittaker Chambers-Alger Hiss case ripped the veil off the Cold War by revealing that the United States and Russia are both controlled by superrich Freemasons dedicated to the triumph of Communism.

Far from being a Russian phenomenon, Communism, in fact, is monopoly capitalism, the creed of the super-rich. Except they want a monopoly over EVERYTHING, spiritual, intellectual AND material. They are behind the Clown world. This is the NWO.

Following the surprise election of outsider Donald Trump to our nation’s highest elective office — a victory that sent shivers up and down the spines of the Washington, D.C. denizens — the elites realized they were in a fight for their very existence and their religious zeal is misplaced by the left’s adherence to principles — abortion, euthanasia, homosexual

The American people will never know how many tears were shed over their precious Hillary Clinton’s failure to win an election on Nov. 6, 2016. The socialists suddenly found that they needed to revise the plan emanating from the Deep State controllers and contributors so that they could push their radical leftist laws, regulations and policies.

Information gleaned from Julian Assange’s WikiLeaks release of Hillary Clinton’s and her campaign manager John Podesta’s emails, and DCLeaks documents from George Soros’ own Open Society Foundation corroborate that Soros’ private intelligence operatives” secretly met with top Vatican cardinals, according to the documents obtained by Conservative Base’s editor Jim Kouri.

Florida goes totalitarian – John Kaminski

May 5, 2019 by · Leave a Comment

As an outcry over Florida’s new censorship law sweeps across the nation, the state’s students prepare for the dilemma of facing racism charges if they say anything negative about Jews or Israel.

The bill passed by the Florida Senate this week mandates students adhere to the severe restrictions on their conversation that Gov. Ron DeSantis plans to take to Israel and sign there on his upcoming visit.

This is a U.S. governor signing a bill in a a foreign country that destroys the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which has been, for 243 years, the very bedrock of American freedom. And the purpose for which we have defended our country.

UN Zio Jew Demands Criticising Jews Made Illegal | INCOG MAN

May 2, 2019 by · Leave a Comment

The only way to stop antisemitism is to criminalize it, Israel’s Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon told reporters in New York on Monday.

“The time for talking and having a conversation is over,” Danon said. “What Israel and the Jewish community around the world demand is action – and now.”

Danon, speaking on the sidelines of the United Nations Security Council meeting, said that those who engage in antisemitism “must be punished. Whether it is here at the UN [or by] political leaders, editors, policy pundits or college professors, it does not matter.

“Antisemitism should have no place in our society,” he continued. “Until it becomes criminal, this bigotry will persist; it will fester. It is only a matter of time until it erupts again in violence and bloodshed.”

Why Are Clapper and Brennan Not in Jail? – American Greatness – Angelo M. Codevilla

May 2, 2019 by · Leave a Comment

The clearest of all the laws concerning U.S. intelligence is Section 798, 18 U.S. Code—widely known in the Intelligence Community as “the Comint Statute,” or “the 10 and 10.”

Politics is not responsible for the non-application of Section 798 to Brendan and Clapper. It is difficult to imagine that the public would not approve massively the straightforward application to prominent men of a law that is so unambiguous, which is the foundation of arguably the main part of U.S intelligence, and which has been applied countless times to ordinary people.

Rather, the absence of real politics—of real competition between opposing sides in American life—is the culprit. What we see is that those in the upper echelons of American life, whether they call themselves Republicans or Democrats, have greater loyalty to the ruling class to which they belong than to any law or institution. The refusal to apply Section 798 to Brennan and Clapper —the fact that they are free men —is simply the most obvious manifestation of the fact that we have a ruling class, that it is coherent, and that it has yet to be challenged in any serious way.

2 Aircraft Carriers Have Left Port – Are The USS Eisenhower And The USS Roosevelt Headed South Toward Venezuela? – Michael Snyder

May 1, 2019 by · Leave a Comment

Juan Guaido has initiated a violent uprising in an attempt to overthrow Nicolas Maduro, and it appears that the U.S. may be preparing to intervene in the conflict militarily.  The USNI News Fleet and Marine Tracker accurately tracks the current positions of U.S. naval assets, and according to them the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower has left port on the east coast and the USS Theodore Roosevelt has left port on the west coast.  In both cases, each aircraft carrier was originally slated for “training” exercises, but now there is lots of speculation that they are both steaming south toward Venezuela.  Since there has been no official confirmation from Washington, let me stress that once again that any talk about the potential destination of these carriers is just speculation.  But considering what is taking place in Venezuela at this moment, it certainly would not surprise anyone if the waters off Venezuela is precisely where they are heading.

Earlier today, the Intel_Radar Twitter account created quite a stir with a series of seven tweets

Prosecutor In Charge of Clinton Email Probe Criticizes Mueller – Washington Free Beacon – Bill Gertz

May 1, 2019 by · Leave a Comment

The Justice Department’s senior counterspy prosecutor who worked on both the Hillary Clinton email probe and the initial Russian election meddling probe recently criticized Special Counsel Robert Mueller for not completing his team’s investigation.

David H. Laufman, until recently chief of the counterintelligence and export control section of the Justice Department national security division, also defended the government prosecution of leakers, including the recent case of an anti-American former intelligence contractor who provided a top-secret document to a news outlet.

“I can’t substitute my judgement for that of Mueller’s team,” he said. “And I had to hand off my chapter of that [investigation] early on and so I’m not going to stand here and tell you whether I think the evidence does or doesn’t warrant actual charges. But I do think it was wrong of the special counsel’s office not to make the charging decision on obstruction—up or down.”

Dear Judges on Social Media: Don’t Forget the Fundamentals of a Fair Trial – Consortiumnews – Greg Barns and Lisanne Adam

April 30, 2019 by · Leave a Comment

On Thursday this week WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange will face a London court. This hearing relates to the request by the United States to extradite Assange to that country to face a computer hacking charge carrying a maximum penalty of five years. No doubt social media will be alive with commentary, support, abuse and everything in between concerning Assange’s plight.

When, after almost seven years, on April 11, 2019, Assange was arrested on Ecuadorian soil and taken into custody by U.K. police, social media exploded with the pro- and anti-Assange forces countering each other, and there has been a deluge of commentary about WikiLeaks and Assange the man. But much of what passes for comment about Assange on social media outlets like Twitter and Facebook ignores some fundamental issues and facts about this extraordinary case. It is important to restate them in the hope, vain though it may be, that social media comment about Assange and WikiLeaks is at least well informed and deals with what is actually at stake in his case.

More New ‘AIPACs’ Popping Up – American Free Press – Philip Giraldi

April 30, 2019 by · Leave a Comment

New organizations dedicated to “defending” Israel are proliferating due to concerns that the American people are finally waking up to the fact that they have been getting ripped off by a vast Zionist conspiracy for the past 70-plus years. Ironically, while it has become possible to criticize Israel even in the mainstream media, the United States government itself has become more firmly in the grasp of the Israel lobby, most recently manifested in bills passed by Congress pledging undying love and affection for war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu and all his works. This has been due in large part to the effective lobbying by the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), which met in Washington in March and drew 18,000 of its supporters to both show up and lobby their congressmen.

The congressional love affair with Israel has been accompanied by billions of dollars in U.S. taxpayer-provided Danegeld per annum plus a de facto commitment to send American soldiers to fight and die for Israel even if Netanyahu starts a war for no reason whatsoever.
