It does not take a great amount of brain power to comprehend that for the U.S. to surrender the final oversight of ICANN that the internet as it has functioned with relative acceptance of political emancipation is fundamentally at risk to end as we know it. In this campaign cycle of American First Nationalism vs. Internationalist Global Despotism, the stakes are most clear. Where is the public indignation and anger that a cornerstone of most people’s lives is about to be ceded with little or no outrage?
The world continues to spiral out of control, as the foreign policy of greed and hubris ratchets up for the next episode of destruction. The prospects of World War III increase with every NeoCon concession to the irrational and suicidal adherence to the Zionist objective of Middle East dominance. The worst kept secret circulating the inner circles of militarist and intelligence agencies are that an October Surprise may be on the horizon. With all this advance notice, the timing probability is unlikely that next month will be the days of dynasty. Nonetheless, the expectations that another major false flag operation is planned to fabricate public sentiment to support an expansion of the perpetual war, that only advances an Israel-First objective, is in the advance stages of execution.
Mr. Trump, you have fallen into a snare placed for you by the Republican establishment people on your team, most of the media, and by Hillary Clinton and her advisers.
The name of that trap is “complexity” and it is used by both party establishments to explain why they never solve any of the problems America faces. Oh, they promise to do so, but when they fail – and they always fail – they say it is because the problem is too “complex”, too “multifaceted, or too “nuanced”, and that it needs great amounts of time and enormous sums of money to solve. [NB: Like the “generational war” against Islam lusted for by those 50 Israel-First war-mongers who wrote you the public letter.]
The popular culture is a pithy substitute for real life. Trivia and amusement has supplanted substance and meaning. The uninterrupted didactics that mold every younger generation into a non thinking and unknowing creature shapes the streaming narrative of current affairs. Viewing life in digital terms only produces zeros and ones. Humanity is seldom taught from a historic perspective. Only a purity of indoctrination is allowed in the secular humanism universe. All others need not apply to be accepted.
There is nothing new about rugged individualists disagreeing. In some respects such divergence is quite normal and appropriate. Whether there is anything that can be remotely labeled a patriot movement, to begin with is certainly a valid area of discussion. But what happens when supposed like- minded world views clash to the extent that eating one’s own becomes an obsession?
The bipartisan governing elite’s panic over Mr. Trump’s potential for destroying their cozy, elitist, bribe-filled, war-causing, and increasingly authoritarian culture is quite clear in the self-righteous, all-knowing, and citizenry-hating anti-Trump letter published on 8 August 2016. It was signed by 50 Republicans who identify themselves as foreign-policy experts, which in both parties is code for “arrogant and war-loving interventionists”.
The signatories are not really Republican foreign-policy experts. They are rather bipartisan interventionists who are part of the continuum of the post-Soviet foreign-and-defense policy elite that has never, even for a second, considered applying the Founders’ commonsense, non-interventionist, strategically sound, and republic-preserving concept of “America First” to the conduct of the republic’s international affairs. They hate Mr. Trump for suggesting it because it would work and turn them out on the street.
All the alarm over the imposition of Sharia Law in enclave Islamic communities within Europe, should have developed much greater push back. But most countries are very late to confront the existential assault on traditional western civilization. What a departure from the galvanized determination of Christian defense that commenced in 1571 at the Battle of Lepanto and culminated in 1683 at the Battle of Vienna. The Ottoman Empire was prevented from total domination of Europe by these victories. However, in today’s voluntary surrender and capitulation culture, the centuries of Christian influence is in danger of eradication from the continent.
The unprecedented removal from command, ending of military careers and forced retirements is a sign that a new reign of terror wants to weaken the armed forces. The civilian Obama command, bosses generals and admirals, as if they were lowly cooks or stewards. It is no wonder that resentment and disgust in the officer corps are at an all time high. Before long, the commander of collectivists will be deploying taste testers before he takes his meals.
The very best part of the Democratic Convention was the evident panic among party leaders over the clear chance that Donald Trump may intend to construct a foreign policy grounded in the concept of America First.
Speaker after speaker railed that Trump is inexperienced in world affairs and lacks a coherent strategic view of the world. These allegations, of course, come from a party that gave the American people the foreign-policy ignoramus Barack Obama in 2008 and the always-wrong, Israel-obsessed, and war-loving Hillary Clinton in 2016. As to the Democratic hacks’ charges of incoherence, what, if not incoherent to the point of being moronic, is the Obama-Clinton foreign policy – supported by the Republican establishment — of fighting Islamists while encouraging them to send fighters to North America in the guise of refugees; removing Mubarak and Gadhafi, trying to oust Syria’s al-Asaad, but supporting all other Arab tyrants and at the same moment calling for stability, peace, and democracy in the Arab world; funding the overthrow of the pro-Russia regime in Ukraine and then blaming Russia for starting a new Cold War and crippling her with economic sanctions; pounding the war drums with Russia, while knowing Putin’s panzers would be in Paris in two weeks or less unless the United States initiated an all-out nuclear war on behalf of the infantile Europeans; and building up Shia Iran as a regional power and at the same time calling for more money, men, and blood from our so-called allies in the Sunni world to defeat the Islamic State and al-Qaeda, thereby further strengthening Iran.
Most glimpses into past history provide insights on what is taking place in the real time current society. When applied to the realm of politics and raw power, the established order gets their way. Ignoring the will of the people is so evident that only a dedicated flunky for maintaining the false narrative of democratic rule would deny the reality of the illicit system. Allowing voters to actually elect their leaders is a risk that the masters of the world order will not tolerate.
Recognizing that the great bard himself asked this timeless question in another form, why do so many avoid it, today? When Hamlet spoke the famous soliloquy “To be, or not to be, that is the question . . .”, he was contemplating suicide. Modern day Shakespeare’s could update the doubt of personal existence to encompass all of society. Why do the aggregate of masses deny confronting the record of power politics, that shapes and determines the future of our collective reality?
The Democratic Party’s convention twice put a wonderfully bright spotlight on how that party has ruined the American educational system by involving the federal government in education. The convention’s slogan for the first night, for example, was “United Together”, which is a phrase that is as stupidly redundant and it is meaningless. And yet, the party’s apparatus, the delegations from each of the party’s enslaved colonies of minorities, and the 80-percent of the media that has its collective head up Hillary’s derriere thought the slogan was a stroke of genius. “Yes, that’s us,” American teachers, told their students the next day, “we are united together.” I hope that at least one of the little brainwashed urchins had the sense and moxie to ask, “Oh, Teacher, could we be “united apart” or “disunited together”? Surely, such a child would be punished for asking the question – perhaps having to memorize “Socialism for Kids” or write “Saul Alinsky” on the blackboard 500 times.
BATR is a comprehensive view on the human condition. Several sites comprise this anthology. The emphasis stresses an in-depth analysis of the realpolitik that influences society and the individual. Ideology matters. In an age where the right and left distinctions are obsolete and misleading, asking the crucial questions is essential.
Essays written under the nom de plume, SARTRE are presented on Reign of Terror, Stuck on Stupid, Totalitarian Collectivism, Radical Reactionary, Inherent Autonomy, Global Gulag, View from the Mount, Strappado Wrack, Dueling Twins, Solitary Purdah, Corporatocracy and Negotium. Archives for each series are available from their respected sites.
Integrity, insight and intelligence are sorely lacking. BATR attempts to fill a void that is often missing. Content is bold and provocative. Commentary is the essence of BATR. No subject is off limits, no authority immune from criticism and no power above accountability.
BREAKING ALL THE RULES is genuine "paleo" conservative populism you can trust.
