Thank God, another election cycle is over. Some celebrate that elections demonstrate that the country prides itself on a peaceful transition of power. Others rejoice that elections reflect the will of the people. And you hear the familiar pronouncement, that democracy brings legitimacy to the rule of government. If all this was true, why is the nation always in trouble? After every election, the system continues to grind citizens into the ground. The privileged few continue to accrue their vast sums of booty, as the debt soars to heights that only a super computer can calculate.
The game of presidential politics is often described as musical chairs. Actually it is more like “Pop Goes the Weasel”. Since national elections have proved to be irrelevant, tweedledum and tweedledee charades, what’s the point in getting worked up over the next cycle? Well adjusted minds know that the next presidency will just be another administration that wastes the country. Another ‘Croissant Kerry’ run would drive the electorate to riot. A McCain march will never get fundamental troops to get in line. What will the parties on both sides of the same coin do? When in doubt call in the consultants and pollsters . . .
I have written here on previous 9/11 anniversaries that the day ought to be called something like the “National Day of Delusion”. I thought this year I would refrain from marking the day, but driving home from Mass this morning and listening to the radio I again got a burr under my saddle about all the falsehoods being propounded over the airwaves. Let us leave aside the fake grief that the media manufactures on each 9/11, and look rather at phrases such as “the terrorists were unable to change America”, “we have avenged the innocent that died in the attack”, “the new skyscrapers in New York City show America is stronger than ever”, and that old, but still reliably nauseating standby “we will never forget.”
What kind of an American are you? Will you mourn the dead or will you celebrate the government as protector of national security? For thoughtful and historically balanced realists the correct reaction is that the last remnants of the Republic collapsed with the twin towers and burned with the response from the Pentagon fire. Most docile and obedient subjects of the despotic regime that has morphed into outright tyranny still believe the official report from The National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States, provides the definitive details on the 911 investigation.
Late in the afternoon of 7 September 2016, the Washington Post published a story that carried the following title, “Trump calls for higher defense spending after months of isolationist talk“. (1) The most germane part of this fundamentally uneducated and anti-Trump article is in the two following paragraphs.
–“As soon as I take office, I will ask Congress to fully eliminate the defense sequester and will submit a new budget to rebuild our military. It is so depleted. We will rebuild our military,” Trump said Wednesday during a speech at the Union League in Philadelphia. “This will increase certainty in the defense community as to funding and will allow military leaders to plan for our future defense needs.”
–“The speech marked a striking shift toward conservative orthodoxy for the real estate developer, whose candidacy on foreign affairs was built on an anti-establishment, anti-interventionist message. Trump has often dismissed the value of consulting experts on international relations, pointing to upheaval in the Middle East as proof that their policies have been ineffective and asserting last year that he knew “more about ISIS than the generals do.”
Celebrating Labor Day is poised for a fundamental transition. As the work force shrinks, the 21th Century version of the nature of employment is undergoing deep and primal changes. Some stats that are relevant point out that 62.8%: Labor Force Participation Has Hovered Near 37-Year-Low for 11 Months.
On a hot and wet September afternoon in northern Virginia, a number of interesting matters appear in the day’s news.
–I searched for “Donald Trump” on GOOGLE News about 1330 and a page of 2o items came up, 19 of them anti-Trump and ranging from negative to scurrilous. The 2oth item is a piece reporting that the latest IBD/TIPP Poll — said to be the most accurate poll in each of the last three presidential elections — has Trump and Clinton in a dead heat, meaning that Hillary has blown a seven-point lead. One would think that turn-around would merit GOOGLE putting the story on its “Top Stories Page”, but it is not there. Trump is a consigned to a page that includes such vital news as “Democrats troll Donald Trump with a Taco Truck in Colorado” and an interview with a harrowing, pink-haired creature named Cindy Lauper who claims Trump is “like Hitler.” I guess you do not need to be sane or talented to work at GOOGLE so long as your are a Democrat and amoral. And who knows, maybe it is not Trump that cost Hillary her lead. Maybe its just that Americans are catching onto the fact she’s a felon, or perhaps they have heard Michael Savage’s priceless and hilarious question about her: “Why would you vote for someone who looks like Stalin’s housekeeper?”
As Labor Day approaches, the serious presidential campaign heats up. This cycle presents a truly clear and definitive choice. Hillary Clinton is the embodiment of the crony establishment. Donald Trump is the antithesis of the status quo and business as usual. Forget all the distractions. It is the final grudge match: Globalism One World Order vs. America First Populism and National Sovereignty. BREAKING ALL THE RULES would like to dare any staunch admirer of Hillary Clinton to present their case why she deserves to become POTUS.
The illegal immigration invasion has been ongoing for decades. All efforts to shut the door on unrestricted entry are “all hat no cattle”. The notion that it is impossible to secure the territorial borderlines is an insult to every native born citizen. The dirty policy that is not much of a secret is that the establishment wants an influx of low wage workers that drives down the cost of labor. The consistent pattern of domestic de-industrialization is a core objective of globalism. Few issues are more in the national interest than managing a rational immigration system. The public consistently registers their disgust with the negative impact that “Open Borders” imposes. However, for all their discontent, the political-corporatist league of dishonesty continues with their game of money-spinning manipulation.
The presidential campaign of 2016 has so far been a humdinger. With all of the republic’s most dangerous enemies gathered under the leadership of the Clintons, the race has become a kind of life-and-death match. A Trump win would see him and Governor Pence initiate America’s long road back to prosperity, nationalism, commonsense, social cohesiveness, and a war-avoiding foreign policy. A Clinton win, on the other hand, would force the issue of how dissenting Americans will choose to dispose, with some finality, of what surely will be Hillary’s continuing implementation of tyranny. The building blocks for more tyranny would be Clinton’s naming of Supreme Court justices to codify more legal preference for her party’s various slave colonies; her starting and losing of more unnecessary and bankrupting interventionist wars; her maintenance of a coddled, bribed, and controlled media; her imposition of punitive taxes on working Americans and their employers to support foreigners, migrants, illegal aliens, the Democrats’ slave colonies, as well as to eliminate middle-class jobs via trade deals and the fabricated climate-change crisis; and her party’s final destruction of the Constitution, the idea of equality before the law, the middle class, the primacy of the English language, American history, and the Christianity that always has been and still is a key part of the republic’s social fabric.
It does not take a great amount of brain power to comprehend that for the U.S. to surrender the final oversight of ICANN that the internet as it has functioned with relative acceptance of political emancipation is fundamentally at risk to end as we know it. In this campaign cycle of American First Nationalism vs. Internationalist Global Despotism, the stakes are most clear. Where is the public indignation and anger that a cornerstone of most people’s lives is about to be ceded with little or no outrage?
The world continues to spiral out of control, as the foreign policy of greed and hubris ratchets up for the next episode of destruction. The prospects of World War III increase with every NeoCon concession to the irrational and suicidal adherence to the Zionist objective of Middle East dominance. The worst kept secret circulating the inner circles of militarist and intelligence agencies are that an October Surprise may be on the horizon. With all this advance notice, the timing probability is unlikely that next month will be the days of dynasty. Nonetheless, the expectations that another major false flag operation is planned to fabricate public sentiment to support an expansion of the perpetual war, that only advances an Israel-First objective, is in the advance stages of execution.
BATR is a comprehensive view on the human condition. Several sites comprise this anthology. The emphasis stresses an in-depth analysis of the realpolitik that influences society and the individual. Ideology matters. In an age where the right and left distinctions are obsolete and misleading, asking the crucial questions is essential.
Essays written under the nom de plume, SARTRE are presented on Reign of Terror, Stuck on Stupid, Totalitarian Collectivism, Radical Reactionary, Inherent Autonomy, Global Gulag, View from the Mount, Strappado Wrack, Dueling Twins, Solitary Purdah, Corporatocracy and Negotium. Integrity, insight and intelligence are sorely lacking. BATR attempts to fill a void that is often missing. Content is bold and provocative. Commentary is the essence of BATR. No subject is off limits, no authority immune from criticism and no power above accountability.
BREAKING ALL THE RULES is genuine "paleo" conservative populism you can trust.
