Mark Dankof Commends Coptic Orphans to Columnist Guild Readers
As the Senior Editor of Old Right Topic News (BATR) and an occasional contributor to to other BATR sites like Neo-Con Watch, I run the risk of constantly informing the discerning public of the negative news in the world, which runs the gamut from war and national debt to terrorism and cultural decline.
Over this 4th of July weekend, I'd like to proffer a change of pace, by commending a special organization to you: Coptic Orphans. Based in Virginia, this fine organization provides assistance to needy Coptic Christian families and individuals in Egypt. For openers, the uninitiated American and Westerner may want to brush up on the history of Coptic Orthodox Christianity.
Then, check out the special message from the Director of Public Relations of Coptic Orphans, Doris Abdel Messieh, which is as follows:
Do you have a friend who is looking for a worthy cause? Do you know someone who loves to help children or perhaps someone who has already expressed an interest in Coptic Orphans but never really gotten around to it?
(Are you one of those people?)
Nominate your friend and if he/she becomes a sponsor, you will receive a special gift from Coptic Orphans.
Send an email to info@copticorphans.org with your friend’s full name, address, telephone number and email address, and the same information about yourself. Not only will you receive a gift, you will have given a child a gift of hope and your friend a gift of giving.
What’s more, send us the contact information of five friends or colleagues whom you would like to learn more about Coptic Orphans, and you will receive a free Coptic Orphans “We Will Not Be Forgotten” music CD.
