Conference To Tackle Da Vinci Fallacies

A conference being held Saturday April 22, 2006 will examine the claims of the Da Vinci Code from an orthodox Christian perspective.

Scheduled to be convened at the Hampton Inn in Bellingham, Washington, the conference will be led by theologian and Bible scholar Michael Heiser, an expert in Hebrew and Ancient Semitic Language who has applied his knowledge of the ancient world to the esoteric mysteries of more contemporary times such as the UFO phenomena and their possible connection with the Nephillim mentioned in the Book of Genesis.

Topics to be addressed at the conference include the nature of Gnosticism, what the Nag Hammadi library had to say about Jesus, and how these documents compare with Canonical Scripture.

Registration for the event is $29 and according to Heiser’s website a DVD of the proceedings will be available at this same price for those unable to attend the event.

The event is being co-sponsored by Guy Malone’s Alien Resistance Headquarters and the Ancient Of Day’s Conference to prepare the Christian public for the pending release of the Ron Howard and Tom Hanks adaptation of the Dan Brown novel scheduled to be released in May.
