State of the Confederacy
On February 11, the State of the Confederacy was released.
I must say, for a nation with an empty treasury and no one filling the Congress or President's chair, it is in better shape than its occupier, the US Empire.
Its laws are still crisp, simple and few. Monetary appropriations are for Constitutionally mandated activities, only. There are no imperial Executive Orders. There is no equivalent of the Federal Reserve (which is neither Federal nor has a reserve) nor department of Homeland Security. It doesn't even have an overbearing Supreme Court, yet.
It does not have troops stationed in over one hundred and forty countries, around the world, and is suffering under a cease fire, in place since June 23, 1865, occupation and malicious governance.
If the Confederacy were a free nation, it would have the 7th largest economy. Its population would be roughly equivalent to that of the Northern Union and it has an industrial base, which the Union is trying to destroy. A free Confederacy would attract industries that have fled the US because of overbearing regulations, taxes and mandates.
The Federation of States ( http://www.FederationofStates.org ) has picked up the fallen banner and has aided in the establishment of State Confederate Registrars to register Confederate citizens for upcoming Confederate Constitutional conventions to re-staff the various state Confederate governments and, eventually, the central Confederate government.
To the scoffers and nay sayers, I refer you to the second paragraph of the Declaration of Independence, the foundation of constitutional law; We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.
The Confederate people desire to exercise that right. Rather than abolish the Empirical government of the US, it shall be left it in place for those who desire to be ruled and protected into slavery. We withdraw our consent to be governed by such an evil empire.
Southerners, whether Confederate or not, had better prepare to accept responsibility for their actions and the rigors of citizenship. We tried to feed, ignore and appease the beast and it is about to devour us.
Either we, once again, become masters of our own house or we shall surly be servants in the mansion of un-Godly world government.
