As the Columnist Guild moves forward the Columnist Guild News Bureau has developed a mission statement.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Columnist Guild News Bureau (CGNB) is the broadest possible distribution of news of critical importance to America, and to the world at large. News Bureau reporters are wholly independent individuals, and thus are free to report unfettered by the bonds of any agenda which might seek to obfuscate or withhold certain of the news. We can and will give voice where it otherwise may not be given. We trust and respect our readers, and so provide intelligent, original and insightful news content on matters oftentimes of profound importance to all people. We strive above all to report fairly, accurately and objectively, in order the news we provide be an aid to reasoned discourse. We do not engage in sensationalism, rather we seek that truths be available for the reader's consideration. We seek to provide easy access to important news of the day, for any and all who wish to subscribe to our news service. Such subscription is free, within terms of fair use, below. The bureau seeks to recruit independent reporters from all corners of the world, and to provide them with an easy way to publish with the widest reach as we may possibly attain. To this end, the Bureau will perpetually seek new partners in syndication who are agreeable to our mission.
