Rand Paul: ‘Left Wing Mob Wishes I Was Dead’ – Infowars – Steve Watson

August 16, 2019 by · Leave a Comment

In a rare interview regarding his health, Senator Rand Paul told Fox News that he is still recovering from being violently attacked by a mentally disturbed neighbor two years ago, but that one of the most disturbing aspects of the incident is the continued hatred being directed his way by a ‘left wing mob’.

“[O]ne of the disturbing things, though, is to see that there’s still so much hatred out there. We announced that I was having surgery and thousands of people on Twitter are swarming to wish … that I had either died or that someone would assault me again,” Paul urged.

“This is supposed to be a right-wing phenomenon, but I see thousands of people on Twitter, this left-wing mob wishing that I were dead, and I’m like, ‘Who are these people?” he added.

Who Decides on Money, The President or the FED? – We Hold These Truths

August 16, 2019 by · Leave a Comment

“This week, the Federal Reserve likely will vote to cut interest rates — when it should be raising them. If the economy is so dependent on low interest rates that a near-record-low rate of 2.4 percent isn’t low enough, there is something wrong with the economy, and piling on more cheap debt will make the crash that much harder,” and “Since the financial crisis of more than a decade ago, America and the world have gotten dangerously addicted to debt. The Fed has fed the addiction.”

She concludes: “The Fed (roughly speaking) sets the interest rate at which banks can borrow. The lower the rate, the lower the rate at which banks will lend to homeowners, credit-card borrowers, car buyers, and the like…In 2008, as the financial system was failing, the Fed pushed its key interest rate down to zero and kept it there for seven years. The point was to get people spending again. Since they had little discretionary income, they couldn’t spend more unless they could borrow more.”

“The more significant problem created is that cheap debt got the economy into trouble in the first place. By 2008, after a decade during which interest rates were also low, people had already borrowed so much that they couldn’t borrow any more. Household debt had nearly doubled between 2000 and 2007, to $14.2 trillion from $7.2 trillion. Choking on mortgage debt, in particular, Americans cut off their spending.”

Tulsi Gabbard Gets Some Vindication – Truthdig – Scott Ritter

August 16, 2019 by · Leave a Comment

In the aftermath of the second Democratic primary debate on July 31, Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard emerged as the most Googled of all candidates, an indication that her performance (which included a stunning takedown of California Sen. Kamala Harris over her criminal justice record) attracted the attention of many viewers. This heightened level of attention produced blowback, both from Harris, who dismissed Gabbard as “an Assad apologist” (a reference to Syrian President Bashar Assad), and from the mainstream media, typified by CNN’s Chris Cuomo, who alleged that Gabbard—a major in the Hawaiian National Guard, with two tours of duty in the Middle East under her belt—is taking the side of Assad over the U.S. intelligence community and U.N. inspectors when it comes to assigning blame for chemical weapons attacks against Syrian civilians.

“What you are referring to are [sic] cynicism as skepticism that I have expressed, because I’ve served in a war that was caused by people who lied to us, who lied to the American people, who presented false evidence that members of Congress and U.S. senators believed and voted for a war that resulted in the loss of lives of over 4,000 of my brothers and sisters in uniform,” Gabbard replied to Cuomo. “It’s our responsibility as lawmakers and as leaders in this country to make sure that our U.S. military is not being activated and deployed to go to war unless we are certain a) that it serves the best interests of the American people; and b) that that action will actually have a positive impact. The questions I’m raising are based on this experience that I’ve had.”

On second thought – John Kaminski

Uninformed, misled, hungry, and victims of a depraved public relations campaign, we were the bad guys who ultimately believed the lies that resulted in 60 million dead people.

World War II (1941-45). Three Jewish-controlled countries — England, U.S., USSR — pulverizing a sincere Christian nation attempting to escape the fatal embrace of the Jewish world bank, which by now, 75 years later, throttles the whole world with its ruthless exploitation of money, perpetually squeezing the life out of humans and other lifeforms.

Many people know Franklin Roosevelt’s oil embargo baited Japan into attacking Pearl Harbor to start WW2. The setup was to get Germany to declare war on the U.S., because Germany and Japan were allies pledged to defend each other from Wall Street capitalism, which had eviscerated Germany in WW1.

Trump’s Great Gamble – Patrick J. Buchanan – Official Website

August 16, 2019 by · Leave a Comment

President Donald Trump’s reelection hopes hinge on two things: the state of the economy in 2020 and the identity of the Democratic nominee.

The further left the Democrats go to select their candidate, the greater the probability Trump wins a second term.

Thus Trump got good news this week.

The verbal flubs of Joe Biden reached critical mass. They are now so numerous and egregious they have begun to call into question whether Biden, who turns 77 in November, is really up to a year of campaigning, followed by four years of leading the nation in the world.

Jeffrey Epstein & Cognitive Dissonance – henrymakow.com

August 15, 2019 by · Leave a Comment

Cognitive dissonance is a big part of US politics. I am going to illustrate this by listing a few examples related to the Epstein case, and a few general examples.

1. People have known about Epstein’s pedophile sex trafficking for decades but there were no charges. A sweetheart deal was made in 2008. Why did the authorities finally decide to get serious in 2019?
2. Why hasn’t Ghislaine Maxwell been charged? She is as guilty as Epstein. She is in the US.
3. Epstein’s lawyers “requested he be removed from suicide watch” and the warden agreed? This after he supposedly tried to commit suicide?Surely this was a preliminary step to murder or suicide.

Wave of BAD economic data for China prove NeverTrumpers wrong: Tariffs are working – Jon Dougherty

August 15, 2019 by · Leave a Comment

Amid a rash of news reports Wednesday claiming the U.S. is headed for a recession, thanks in large part to President Donald Trump’s tariff-centric trade policies, comes a little-noticed report indicating that China, our main economic competitor, isn’t doing so well after all.

While most of the media ignored it, The Wall Street Journal reported on a raft of bad economic news for China that likely explains why Beijing was so quick to end its currency manipulation a week ago after the president warned of further trade consequences.

Specifically, the WSJ noted that unemployment in China has spiked amid slowdowns in the country’s manufacturing sector and decreased consumer activity, all of which threaten the Asian giant’s 6-6.5 percent annual growth rate target:

Mr. President, stay away from Hong Kong, it’s a trap Britain laid for America | Non-Intervention2 – Michael Scheuer

August 15, 2019 by · Leave a Comment

When the UK government returned its Hong Kong colony to China on 1 July 1997, it did so with the full knowledge that they were turning the colony’s population over to a Chinese communist tyranny that had killed more innocent people than either Stalin or the American Medical Association. Beijing has never given up its prized status as leader in the field of annihilating the innocent, and, indeed, is perfecting its murderous skills against the Chinese Muslim population residing in the country’s western Xinjiang Province, a place now reported to be an enormous concentration camp.

The British gave up the colony because they could not afford its cost, because they feared China would use its military to annex the colony, because it was being shamed by the Western media as an anachronistic “colonial power”, and because they knew that the UK military had been cut to the bone after the fall of the USSR and so Britain’s only effective military response to a surprise Chinese annexation would be a decidedly counterproductive nuclear response.

Who Governs? – American Renaissance – Gregory Hood

August 15, 2019 by · Leave a Comment

“Sovereign is he who decides the exception,” wrote political theorist Carl Schmitt. These days, there are many “exceptions” to the law. Sam Francis argued that “anarcho-tyranny” was the necessary result of multiculturalism: “We refuse to control real criminals (that’s the anarchy),” he wrote, “so we control the innocent (that’s the tyranny).”

There is more “anarchy” and “tyranny” every day.

Twenty to 30 million illegal immigrants are in the country. They aren’t “in the shadows;” they protest in public and go on television, even on taxpayer-subsidized networks. To them, the law is irrelevant.

Several cities have declared themselves “sanctuaries” for illegals. Local police ignore “detainer” orders by Immigration and Customs Enforcement and release criminal illegals who go on to commit more crimes. California passed a law making the entire state a “sanctuary” and forbidding local cooperation with immigration authorities. “Sanctuaries” flout federal law.

Google “Machine Learning Fairness” Whistleblower Goes Public, says: “burden lifted off of my soul” – Project Veritas

August 14, 2019 by · Leave a Comment

A Google insider who anonymously leaked internal documents to Project Veritas made the decision to go public in an on-the-record video interview. The insider, Zachary Vorhies, decided to go public after receiving a letter from Google, and after he says Google allegedly called the police to perform a “wellness check” on him.

Along with the interview, Vorhies asked Project Veritas to publish more of the internal Google documents he had previously leaked. Said Vorhies:

“I gave the documents to Project Veritas, I had been collecting the documents for over a year. And the reason why I collected these documents was because I saw something dark and nefarious going on with the company and I realized that there were going to not only tamper with the elections, but use that tampering with the elections to essentially overthrow the United States.”

Serious Or Satire? UK Media Urges “Give War A Chance” | Zero Hedge

August 14, 2019 by · Leave a Comment

Well, the latest example, surprisingly enough, comes from the UK, where local writers’ mastery of the art of satire has been widely regarded for centuries.

At a time when tensions are already running high (thanks to that whole Brexit debacle), journalist Rod Liddle published a column in the Sunday Times where he argued that it might be time for the UK to start another war. But this time, not with one of its European neighbors (that would presumably be far too easy).

Instead, Liddle writes, the UK should consider a more challenging adversary like China as its target for aggression. Two nuclear powers going head to head? How bad could it possibly get?

America-Firsters Gather – American Free Press – Donald Jeffries

August 14, 2019 by · Leave a Comment

Mainstream media coverage would lead one to believe that those who support Donald Trump are uneducated rubes. The picture painted is that of cursing, racist white males, MAGA hats proudly displayed, watching NASCAR as they knock back mass quantities of cheap beer. There has emerged, however, an intellectual movement that shatters this stereotype.

A group of “national conservatives,” consisting of academics, journalists, and politicians prominent on the right, recently gathered in Washington, D.C.’s Ritz-Carlton hotel. Yoram Hazony, author of the book The Virtue of Nationalism and an organizer of the conference, dubbed the event “the coming together of diverse bands of conservatives.” The group included a full spectrum of conservative thought, with venture capitalists, Calvin Coolidge fans, libertarians and isolationists among those represented. A common thread was the belief that this country’s institutions and form of government remain “the most logical vessel for political organization known to man,” to quote National Review.

Military Strength Is Our National Religion – Antiwar.com Original – William J. Astore and Tom Engelhardt

After almost 18 years of the war (or rather wars) on (or perhaps of) terror, there’s some good news! The Washington Post reports that American troops are finally coming home from Afghanistan! Actually, let me amend that slightly. They will only come home if Taliban and U.S. negotiators complete a deal by September that leads to a countrywide ceasefire (and if the Taliban agrees to certain other conditions as well). In fact, let me amend that one more time: “they” turns out to refer to the withdrawal of just about 5,000 U.S. military personnel, leaving 8,000-9,000 U.S. troops still in place after “peace” breaks out.

For Donald Trump who, years ago, repeatedly demanded that the Afghan War be ended and all American troops brought home, only to agree in mid-2017 to dispatch another 4,000 of them to that land, such a peace pact would just return U.S. troop levels to more or less what they were at that moment two years ago. In the age of Trump, that, I suppose, is the definition of “progress” in America’s never-ending wars. Perhaps you won’t be surprised to also learn that, according to the Post, the U.S. commander in Afghanistan, General Austin Miller, is “open” to such a peace proposal precisely “because he believes it would protect U.S. interests by maintaining a counterterrorism force that can strike the Islamic State and al-Qaeda.” If one were to turn this into a riddle, it might go something like: When is a Trumpian withdrawal hardly a withdrawal at all?

China, Not Russia, the Greater Threat – Patrick J. Buchanan – Official Website

August 14, 2019 by · Leave a Comment

China steals our intellectual property via cybertheft, forces U.S. companies in China to transfer technology, hacks our computers, dumps into our markets to put U.S. companies out of business, subsidizes state-owned enterprises to compete with U.S. firms, manipulates its currency, and, despite our protests, ships to the USA the fentanyl drug that has become a major killer of Americans.

Such practices have enabled China to run up annual trade surpluses of $300 billion to $400 billion at our expense, and, says Navarro, have caused the loss of 70,000 factories and 5 million manufacturing jobs in the U.S.

Moreover, China has used the accumulated wealth of its huge trade surpluses to finance its drive for hegemony in Asia and beyond.

Alternate theory emerges: Was Jeffrey Epstein swapped out of his cell to prevent him from being murdered? – NaturalNews.com – Mike Adams

August 13, 2019 by · Leave a Comment

The apparent murder of Jeffrey Epstein is sending shock waves around the world, jolting more people awake to the fact that the deep state is so dangerous that even prisoners are not safe from being murdered.

It has now become apparent to every thinking person that America is occupied by an enemy force, a corrupt criminal cartel known as “Democrats” who will kill anyone that gets in their way or threatens their power. Jeffrey Epstein, of course, could have testified to the fact that Bill Clinton is a serial rapist and child abuser whose perverted crimes have been covered up by the complicit left-wing media for decades.

RAY McGOVERN: Rich’s Ghost Haunts the Courts – Consortiumnews

The major takeaway: the evidence presented by Dotcom about Seth Rich can be verified or disproven if President Trump summons the courage to order the director of NSA to dig out the relevant data, including the conversations Dotcom says he had with Rich and Rich may have had with WikiLeakspublisher Julian Assange. Dotcom said he put Rich in touch with a middleman to transfer the DNC files to WikiLeaks. Sadly, Trump has flinched more than once rather than confront the Deep State — and this time there are a bunch of very well connected, senior Deep State practitioners who could faceprosecution.

Another sign that Rich’s story is likely to draw new focus is the virulent character assassination indulged in by former investigative journalist James Risen.

The Rutherford Institute :: Who Inflicts the Most Gun Violence in America? The U.S. Government and Its Police Forces | By John W. Whitehead

August 13, 2019 by · Leave a Comment

Yes, gun violence is a problem in America, although violent crime generally remains at an all-time low.

Yes, mass shootings are a problem in America, although while they are getting deadlier, they are not getting more frequent.

Yes, mentally ill individuals embarking on mass shooting sprees are a problem in America.

However, tighter gun control laws and so-called “intelligent” background checks fail to protect the public from the most egregious perpetrator of gun violence in America: the U.S. government.

Consider that five years after police shot and killed an unarmed 18-year-old man in Ferguson, Missouri, there has been no relief from the government’s gun violence.

Huawei Covertly to Sell Smartphones in U.S. – The Washington Beacon – Bill Gertz

China’s Huawei Technologies, the world’s No. 2 smartphone maker, covertly planned to sell its smartphones in the United States disguised as non-Huawei devices, according to U.S. officials.

U.S. intelligence agencies learned of the plans last month and alerted senior policymakers.

According to the officials, the Shenzhen, China-based company planned to ship a large number of its smartphones to Mexico where the smartphones would be re-labeled and shipped into the United States.

As non-Huawei devices, there would be no prohibition on selling them in the United States.

Hallelujah to the New Age worship of state controlled violence. For the adamant dreamland multitude, their canon of conduct demands that individuals disarm themselves and allow the policing functions only as conducted by official government authorities. These ‘true believers’ avoid any serious examination of the continual abuses of state sponsored despotism, court abuses of Bill of Right protections and cultural perversions designed to create a docile population. The cries for outlawing firearms are based upon the erroneous proposition that guns, if banned, would make a safe society. The legitimate natural right of self-defense is ignored or repudiated for some vague notion of the ‘greater good’.
