Covington’s 16-year-old Sandmann Rebuts Media Smear Artists in NBC Interview – William F. Jasper

“Do you feel, from this experience, that you owe anybody an apology? Do you see your own fault in any way?” Those were the opening questions from NBC Today show co-host Savannah Guthrie, in her hardball grilling of 16-year-old Nick Sandmann that aired Wednesday. Sandmann, who is a junior at Kentucky’s Covington Catholic High School, is the victim of a Fake News/social media lynching that egregiously violated not only the basics of journalistic due diligence but all the basics of decency, fairness, and ethics as well. In Sandmann’s first national interview, NBC’s Guthrie seemed intent on continuing to cast him — rather than “Indigenous activist” Nathan Phillips — as the aggressor, in what Guthrie characterized as an “infamous encounter with a Native American elder.”

MSNBC’s Morning Joe host Mika Brzezinski seemed taken aback when economics and politics writer David Stockman told her in a Monday interview:

“NATO is obsolete; we should get rid of it.”

Brzezinski followed up, asking, “are you saying that we should pull out of NATO?”

“Sure,” replied Stockman, a former United States House of Representatives member.

He then provided a rundown of some of his reasoning:

Andrew Breitbart Was Right About the Media – The American Spectator

Andrew was nothing if not righteously indignant. One of my most prized possessions is the galley copy of Righteous Indignation that he gave me to read before I helped him promote his work. It was my great joy to do so. A naturally talented writer, Andrew’s book is a story worth reading if you haven’t yet.

Most of all, Andrew was prescient. He saw the corruption in the media. He saw the utter malevolence of their intentions. He saw them as the enemy. I try to imagine the rage he’d be unleashing today, if he were here to see the media’s constant war against the truth. Andrew’s antipathy to the media was wholly rational. Many on his own side thought he was too extreme. They were wrong.

Identity Stalinism – Taki’s Magazine – Steve Sailer

The media’s latest Days of Rage, in which a white boy drove the national press into a frenzy by smiling at the leftist Person of Color banging a drum in his face, was like a greatest-hits collection of my old observations. So I’m going to take a victory lap to review how ideas I’ve been offering for years help explain much of the latest elite fury.

Tucker Carlson summed up his eloquent dissection of this outbreak of Hate Hysteria as: “It’s not really about race.”
