Who’s A ‘Foreign Agent’? – Antiwar.com Original

You know life’s become a joke when the US Department of Justice starts requiring foreign media to register as foreign agents. Will the BBC be forced to issue a disclaimer with every broadcast and web posting: “Proceed with caution – British propaganda ahead”? Don’t bet the ranch on it.

Such distinctions are reserved for the current bogeyman of the moment, i.e. typically some marginal outlet with a small-to-minuscule audience, in this case RT, formerly Russia Today, and its companion web site Sputnik. Banned from advertising on Twitter, and the subject of an official investigation by both houses of Congress and a special counsel, these two relatively minor state-sponsored outlets are nonetheless credited with nearly single-handedly putting Donald Trump in the White House.

Saudi Arabia and Israeli Alliance Targets Iran

November 21, 2017 by · Leave a Comment

The consequences of the failed American foreign policy in the Middle East has seldom been more vivid with the defeat of ISIS; the U.S. surrogate in the Syrian conflict. ISIS, a blended creation of the CIA and the Mossad was the inevitable result of sanctioning the murder of Libya’s Muammar Gaddafi. With the support of Russian involvement, Syria’s President Bashar Hafez al-Assad was able to fend off the imperialist efforts of Israel to remove him from office and destroy his country. Defeating ISIS on the battlefield has never been the intention of the DC shadow government. The consistent policy under every US administration has been to protect the Zionist state above all else. Unfortunately, the Trump regime is no different and certainly does not follow a genuine America First foreign policy.

Unserious Nation | Patrick J. Buchanan – Official Website

How stands John Winthrop’s “city upon a hill” this Thanksgiving?

How stands the country that was to be “a light unto the nations”?

To those who look to cable TV for news, the answer must at the least be ambiguous. For consider the issues that have lately convulsed the public discourse of the American republic.

The Rutherford Institute : Don’t Just Give Thanks. Pay It Forward One Act of Kindness at a Time

November 20, 2017 by · Leave a Comment

It’s been a hard, heart-wrenching, stomach-churning kind of year filled with violence and ill will.

It’s been a year of hotheads and blowhards and killing sprees and bloodshed and takedowns.

It’s been a year in which tyranny took a step forward and freedom got knocked down a few notches.

It’s been a year with an abundance of bad news and a shortage of good news.

It’s been a year of too much hate and too little kindness.

Now we find ourselves approaching that time of year when, as George Washington and Abraham Lincoln proclaimed, we’re supposed to give thanks as a nation and as individuals for our safety and our freedoms.

It’s not an easy undertaking.

New World Order Pope – Frankie the Fake

November 20, 2017 by · Leave a Comment

The Catholic Church has a long history, for good and bad, that has shaped the political fortunes of Western Civilization for over two millenniums. From the conversion of the Roman Empire under Constantine to the pagan ridden culture of feast days and devotions to the Great East-West Schism of the 11th century, the “Church” has invited skepticism and criticism while the spiritual teachings of Jesus Christ took a back seat to the temporal lust for power and dominion. Throughout the turmoil of the Common Era, scholarship and core doctrine professed a profound belief in the teachings of the Gospels, the promise of salvation and the sanctity of individual life.

On natural rights, Saudi Arabia, and John McCain

November 19, 2017 by · Leave a Comment

The swirl of events continues, and so I thought I would comment on a couple of them

The first deals with some media coverage of Judge Roy Moore, but my focus has nothing to do with the sexual-misconduct allegations now being directed at him. What I noticed was a clip from MSNBC in which its correspondent Chuck Todd, after Moore had won the Republican primary, expressed astonishment that Judge Moore believed that each person’s rights — his natural rights — come from God and not from the government. Now, I have written before that most of the Americans I have heard speak in the public square are more or less ignorant of U.S. history, and especially of the period from the Puritans’ arrival in New England through the decades of the early republic. Mr. Todd, however, in his ruminations about Judge Moore and the concept of natural rights, drove home for me how thoroughly ignorant so many U.S. political and media personalities are of the republic’s history and character.

Who Gets to Push the Nuclear Button? – PaulCraigRoberts.org

November 17, 2017 by · Leave a Comment

William Binney is the former National Security Agency (NSA) official who created NSA’s mass surveillance program for digital information. He says that if the Russian government had conspired with Trump, hacked the Democratic National Committee’s computer, or in any way influenced the outcome of the last US presidential election, the National Security Agency would have the digital evidence. The fact that we have been listening to the unsubstantiated charges that comprise “Russiagate” for more than one year without being presented with a scrap of evidence is complete proof that Russiagate is entirely fake news.

The fake news originated with CIA director John Brennan and FBI director Comey conspiring with the DNC in an effort to discredit and unseat President Trump and at a minimum prevent him from damaging the vast power and profit of the military/security complex by normalizing relations with Russia.

Is America Up for a Second Cold War? | Patrick J. Buchanan – Official Website

After the 19th national congress of the Chinese Communist Party in October, one may discern Premier Xi Jinping’s vision of the emerging New World Order.

By 2049, the centennial of the triumph of Communist Revolution, China shall have become the first power on earth. Her occupation and humiliation by the West and Japan in the 19th and 20th centuries will have become hated but ancient history.

Russia-gate Spreads to Europe – Consortiumnews

November 16, 2017 by · Leave a Comment

Ever since the U.S. government dangled $160 million last December to combat Russian propaganda and disinformation, obscure academics and eager think tanks have been lining up for a shot at the loot, an unseemly rush to profit that is spreading the Russia-gate hysteria beyond the United States to Europe.

Now, it seems that every development, which is unwelcomed by the Establishment – from Brexit to the Catalonia independence referendum – gets blamed on Russia! Russia! Russia!

Brexit Defiance of the EU

November 15, 2017 by · Leave a Comment

The UK media is out in force to scare Brits from voting to leave the European Union. Thursday, June 23: Date of the in/out referendum is set for the vote. Just the notion that an actual plebiscite will take place on such an important issue, is encouraging. Proponents of exiting the EU are natural allies in the struggle to promote national populism. The long and distinguished history of England has an opportunity to show the world that the voice of the people can register a resounding repudiation against the technocrats of an unelected European Union.

America’s Righteous Russia-gate Censorship – Consortiumnews

November 14, 2017 by · Leave a Comment

A stark difference between today’s Washington and when I was here as a young Associated Press correspondent in the late 1970s and the early 1980s is that then – even as the old Cold War was heating up around the election of Ronald Reagan – there were prominent mainstream journalists who looked askance at the excessive demonization of the Soviet Union and doubted wild claims about the dire threats to U.S. national security from Nicaragua and Grenada.

The Rutherford Institute :: Financial Tyranny: ‘We the People’ Are the New Permanent Underclass in America

November 14, 2017 by · Leave a Comment

Americans can no longer afford to get sick and there’s a reason why. That’s because a growing number of Americans are struggling to stretch their dollars far enough to pay their bills, get out of debt and ensure that if and when an illness arises, it doesn’t bankrupt them. This is a reality that no amount of partisan political bickering can deny. Many Americans can no longer afford health insurance, drug costs or hospital bills. They can’t afford to pay rising healthcare premiums, out-of-pocket deductibl

Political Toadies and a Broken Down System

November 14, 2017 by · Leave a Comment

All the Statesmen are dead. The worst of society rise to the top of the food chain. Habitual liars run for civic office and the most skilled prevaricator gain seniority. The shyster class runs roughshod over the jurisprudence for the benefit of the enablers of the corrupt criminal syndicate. Alas, public meetings still start with the pledge of allegiance, but the words no longer have meaning – the Republic is officially dead. The emperor in chief needs no consent to wage war; he is above all sanction. Mourning over the corpse will only get you on the no-fly list.

Reining in the Rogue Royal of Arabia | Patrick J. Buchanan – Official Website

If the crown prince of Saudi Arabia has in mind a war with Iran, President Trump should disabuse his royal highness of any notion that America would be doing his fighting for him.

Mohammed bin Salman, or MBS, the 32-year-old son of the aging and ailing King Salman, is making too many enemies for his own good, or for ours.
